IV Training

No pre-requisite required.
The completion of a nationally recognised and Government
accredited Certificate IV provides you with basic practitioner training. This program will take
you approximately 9 to 18 months, or longer if you wish,
and enables you to start practicing, set up your clinic and build
your client base while enhancing your skills with further, more
in-depth study such as the Diploma. Diploma level is required by most private health funds
for the allocation of a provider number, allowing your clients to
obtain rebates for the treatment.
To obtain Certificate IV status
requires no pre-requisites and includes the following
training components:
Kinesiology training - KAAP,
TFH, DK 1
Common Competency Units - Business Unit 1and 2 plus F/Aid
Anatomy & Physiology - self guided study

IV KINESIOLOGY TRAINING
Provided by Dynamic Kinesiology Centre
This training relates to
the practical and theoretical components specific to your
kinesiology knowledge. To allow the best possible
learning outcome these units are delivered in short,
intensive face-to-face training blocks and require
workbooks consisting of assignments and case studies to be
completed in the comfort of your own home, at your own
pace after attending the face-to-face hours.
Students are being
continually assessed for theoretical and practical
competency.

After successful
completion of all the required Cert IV kinesiology and
Cert IV common competency units an additional Statement of
Attainment will be issued for the following special units
(required for the completion of the government accredited
Cert IV) at no extra cost:

These units are 'common'
to many complementary modalities (such as massage,
naturopathy etc) and provide you with the theoretical and
practical underpinning knowledge required by the
government, to help you run your healing business
successfully. To ensure the best possible learning
outcome for you most of these units are delivered in a combination of face-to-face education as well
as the completion of self-guided workbooks. These
common competency units encompass the business aspects,
anatomy & physiology and first aid training
and can be started during any stage of your training.

of these units are regularly held by Smart Bowen in Adelaide, as well as

lot of work by the instructor and student to successfully
complete. Assignment and workbook required for
completion of unit will take some time to complete after
attending this 2 day workshop.

Four self-guided workbook units, with an assessment to be
completed after your workbook has been marked and returned
to you. Each unit consists of 50 nominal hours and
can be purchased in stages.
