Diploma Training
HLT51507
The pre-requisite required is the Certificate IV in Kinesiology. Completion
of the a nationally recognised and Government accredited Diploma program will take you approximately 18 - 24
months, or longer if you wish. It will provide you with
advanced and in-depth kinesiology skills to deal with difficult
and chronic cases. The Diploma level
is required by most private
health funds for the allocation of a provider number, allowing
your clients to obtain rebates for the treatment.
To obtain Diploma status includes
the following
training components:
Certificate IV in Kinesiology
plus:
Kinesiology training - DK 2-4
Common Competency Units - Business Unit 3+4, A+P Unit 5

KINESIOLOGY TRAINING
Provided by Dynamic Kinesiology Centre
This training relates to
the practical and theoretical components specific to your
kinesiology knowledge. To allow the best possible
learning outcome these units are delivered in short,
intensive face-to-face training blocks and require
workbooks consisting of assignments and case studies to be
completed in the comfort of your own home, at your own
pace after attending the face-to-face hours.
Students are being
continually assessed for theoretical and practical
competency. For a detailed description of each
kinesiology course please refer to the left hand tabs at
the top of this page.

After successful
completion of the required diploma kinesiology and diploma
common competency units an additional Statement of
Attainment will be issued for the following special units
(required for the completion of the government accredited
Cert IV) at no extra cost:
- HLTKIN506A Perform an advanced
kinesiology health assessment
- HLTKIN507A Plan an advanced
kinesiology session
- HLTKIN508A Apply an advanced
kinesiology assessment framework
- HLTKIN509A Monitor and evaluate
kinesiology balances
- HLTSHU509 Maintain personal
health awareness as a professional responsibility
- CHCCS6B Assess
and deliver services to clients with complex needs
- HLTCOM501A Provide services to clients with
chronic diseases or conditions

DIPLOMA
COMMON COMPETENCY TRAINING
These units are 'common'
to many complementary modalities (such as massage,
naturopathy etc) and provide you with the theoretical and
practical underpinning knowledge required by the
government, to help you run your healing business
successfully. To ensure the best possible learning
outcome for you most of these units are delivered in a combination of face-to-face education as well
as the completion of self-guided workbooks. These
common competency units encompass the business aspects,
pathology, nutrition and first aid training
and can be started during any stage of your training.
The face-to-face aspects
of these units are regularly held in Adelaide, as well as
all other States.

possible training outcomes, the following units (also

practice) under the Cert IV training.
