Training: General Overview

Dynamic Kinesiology

(DK)

The DK series contains 4 levels.

Each each level consists of a 4-day face-to-face training segment plus a 2-day review and assessment segment
Pre-requisite: KAAP & TFH

Dynamic Kinesiology is a series of advanced Kinesiology workshops designed to incorporate, yet simplify all your previous kinesiology approaches and provide you with a framework that will expand your expertise.  It will give you the ability to work with difficult and chronic cases in a professional and confident manner, on top of providing you with sound practitioner training by integrating many facets of complementary therapies.

DK is designed not only to supply you with specialised technical skills in Kinesiology but also offers you the underpinning knowledge of why you do what you do!!!

It's uncomplicated approach combines muscle monitoring, acupressure and other proven Kinesiology techniques with aspects of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Bowen and Craniosacral Therapy.  DK addresses the often forgotten, yet extremely important aspect of providing practical management and solution focused strategies.  It allows you to explore neurology, brain formatting, emotional difficulties and the gut/brain connection, childhood reflexes, phobias, chemical toxicity, time mode, hormones, chakras, essences and much, much more.  Covering these aspects will vastly broaden your understanding of why your clients have certain problems, what contributes to their problems and more importantly what can be done to eliminate these problems.

Ongoing mentoring support for students during and after their studies is another aspect incorporated in Dynamic Kinesiology and provides the missing link for confident, competent and successful practitioners.

Each level of the DK workshops consists of four days face to face training, plus a two day review and assessment segment some weeks after the initial course, as well as a workbook comprising of a written assignment and case studies. All DK courses are accredited for 80 hours each level by the Australian Kinesiology Association, the peak governing body of Kinesiology in Australia.

Pre-requisites are KAAP and TFH or equivalent knowledge.

For a more detailed course description of each DK level please read on:

Kinesiology Course Descriptions:

DK 1 - Practitioner Essentials

(pre-requisite required: KAAP & TFH 1-4 or equivalent)

Many Kinesiology courses claim to teach fast, simple correction techniques, however, they are often too complex, too simple or too vague, or assume you have a great deal of underlying knowledge.

Dynamic Kinesiology 1 is an advanced 5-day workshop bringing together 'the best of the best' - it uses tried and tested techniques from a variety of modalities that really do work, and in addition, DK adds to or refines these techniques to make them work even better.

DK combines powerful, non-complicated balancing with cross-referring to factors contributing to the issue on hand.  It provides skills and techniques to find 'short circuits' in the neurological network and addresses environmental, structural and emotional factors that may be involved.

On top of that DK incorporates how to take a detailed client history and how to ask your client appropriate questions to establish clear cut measurable objectives, including enhanced Neuro Linugistic Programming skills.  DK provides you with practical management and self-help techniques to share with your clients.  This combined approach allows for the integration of the body and mind to be facilitated by the Kinesiologist in a simple, no-nonsense and professional manner.

DK 1 is taught over four consecutive days, with a workbook including case studies and an assignment to be completed before attending the two day review/assessment, which is held some weeks after the initial four days.  This allows integration and practise of the learned material.   This course completes the required kinesiology aspect of the nationally recognised and Government accredited Certificate IV in Kinesiology, as well as the basic AKA recognised Practitioner Training.

DK 1 is an advanced workshop and requires KAAP and TFH 1-4 or equivalent as a pre-requisite.
